It’s important to understand that Royalty Payments are very much controlled by PRO’s around the world.
If you have earned royalties, Dark Escapes Publishing will make all possible attempts to pay them quarterly providing you have reached the minimum of AUD$160 ready for payout. This amount is control by our distribution platform and cannot be reduced. If your amount does not exceed $160, you royalties owed will accumulate until the minimum amount has been achieved.
These payments are sent via our preferred payment transfer platform, on or before the last day of the following months: March, June, September, and December of each year. If you are unsure about this, please drop us a quick email, or arrange for a call.
Usually, you will receive a payment directly from your Performance Rights Organisation (PRO) for your songwriter’s share of royalties (this will typically arrive one quarter prior to your Dark Escapes payment which contains the publisher’s share).
