BIO

Beneath the relaxed surfer-like vibe, Adelaide Mid-Coast singer-songwriter, Nick West, exudes a street-wise savvy and wisdom beyond his 23 years.

Having been played on one of Australia’s premier radio stations, Triple J, featured in the Pt Noarlunga Blues Festival, worked with Melbourne’s folk favourite – Khristian Mizzi, at the 2019 Umbrella Festival, and a previous winner in South Australia’s premier song contest (‘SCALA Festival Of Original Music’), Nick has already begun to spread his wings.

With his more recent signing to indie label, Dark Escapes Music, Australia, Nick begins work on a follow-up to his previously successful debut EP “Pieces Of One”, which was released with debut single/video, “European City” and the follow-up, “What Humans Do” available on all major digital platforms around the world.

Light-hearted digs at the world and himself underpin Nick’s highly melodic alternative pop-rock songs while also addressing social issues and throwing his strong support behind mens’ mental health that he has found traction in, especially from his fellow youth.

Between-song monologues exude confidence, authenticity and a cheeky humour: an overall package that is seeing him in demand and morphing from one of Adelaide’s newest emerging artists into a long-term contender.
